SOV INVADERS is a RTS (real time strategy) game using NFTs (non fungible tokens) and AMMs (automated market makers) for a dynamic and constant economy. SOV INVADERS will run on the EOS Blockchain and use SOV as its in game currency!
In SOV INVADERS, players will be able to play one of 4 races and choose whatever play style suits them best! Passive with a focus on defense, aggressive with a focus on offense, economic with a focus on trading, or anything in-between!
SOV INVADERS was inspired by base building and strategy classics like StarCraft, XCOM, Chess, Command and Conquer, RISK, Age of Empires, Clash of Clans, WarCraft etc..
In SOV INVADERS, when you destroy an enemy unit or building, you instantly earn SOV equal to their in game market value. If you are a savvy trader, you can earn SOV using the SOV INVADERS AMM, or earn SVX from building collector buildings. We will go into more detail regarding the SOV INVADERS economy and game mechanics later :)
So now that you have an idea what the game is about, it’s time to get to the contest rules!
- Media made should ideally be in the retro arcade style with a poster / flyer type of theme, but can be made in any theme the contestant chooses. Please look up SPACE INVADERS posters and other promotional material from classic and vintage arcade and RTS games for more ideas.
- **Media should use §SOV Symbol(s)/Logo(s) https://github.com/SOVEOS/SOV-Symbols
and multiple .png assets from the game’s NFTs and design https://github.com/sovspacegame/sovspacegame.github.io/tree/main/img - **Media should be in .png format, but can also be in .gif format if someone wanted to animate something.
- **Media should be in 16:9 aspect or other aspect specific for sharing on social media.
- **Media should be less than 5mb.
- **Media should be submitted directly to @Gelvandorf on Telegram before March 8th 2023 12am UTC .
- Contestants can have multiple submissions and winners will be announced on March 8th 2023!
